This position supports State Street Global Services, Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) business. This position will provide the candidate exposure across multiple applications on the Global Real Estate Platform (GREP). A core responsibility will be assisting end users on day-to-day system issues and onboarding new clients on the Global Real Estate Platform (GREP). You will have the opportunity to assist and implement ideas that streamline processes and enhance controls, and diagnose, design, test and implement solutions for smaller projects or aspects of large, complex projects.

What You Will Be Responsible For
As Officer Business Support you will:
- Providing daily user support on GREP, including troubleshooting and resolving any ad hoc issues experienced by users in a timely manner.
- Configuration of new funds onto the platform, including assisting users in designing the appropriate configuration set up in line with client needs.
- Serve as subject matter expert on the applications and recommend and implement enhancements, working closely with IT during the development, testing, deployment of the enhancement to production, and preparing documentation of the new features to be distributed to users.
- Facilitate working group sessions, as needed, to drive initiatives forward, including obtaining consensus and approval from all stakeholders.
- Interface and collaborate across key internal stakeholders (business, IT and project teams) and external parties to deliver results and ensure consistent service delivery, client solutions and client satisfaction.
- Assist to promote a collaborative cross-business environment that fosters change.
- Support and assist with the end-to-end planning, implementation of business-as-usual projects including supporting multiple work streams and working groups within a large strategic initiative.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of effective internal controls and the implementation of corrective actions to address any process and control deficiencies.
- Participate in projects across the full breadth of AIS’s geographic regions.
- Develop and provide end-user training on GREP application on an ongoing basis.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent. An understanding of accounting concepts is required. This position will not provide accounting experience (that a typical Fund Accountant would get)…but will provide an exposure into the workings of multiple funds being reported. The configuration of a fund and its ongoing maintenance is what provides the desired result for the Fund accountant.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrated strong finance/accounting business background.
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups), PowerPoint, Word.
Additional Requirements
- Serve as the main point of contact for end users needing assistance with technology issues or needing guidance for how-to questions.
- Assist with the testing and evaluation of new software, systems, and applications; provide feedback from an end user’s point of view to ensure easy usability once implemented.
- Demonstrated ability to document procedures and create user manuals and support users in terms of navigating the system and answering questions.
