The Impact You Will Make
As a Financial Analyst, your role will be integral to the management and enhancement of our financial operations. You will contribute to the consolidation of forecasted results, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, while also investigating unexpected variances. Partner with business owners on budget control, risks and opportunities, decision support, and ad hoc analysis.
What That Looks Like Day To Day
- Assist in the development of sales budgets and forecasts, working closely with the executive teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assist with monitoring actual performance against sales forecast, identifying variances and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Identifying and analyzing trends in Style/Category and Sales Channel Performance.
- Assist in setting new pricing for seasonal development.
- Analyze and explain variances between actual sales results and forecasted figures.
- Collaborate on pricing strategies, discount structures, and other initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity for reliable reporting and analysis.
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed, providing financial expertise and analysis to support decision-making.
- Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
- Collaborate with IT to enhance reporting tools.
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience analyzing sales trends, identifying patterns, and evaluating sales channel performance. Experience assessing the impact of marketing initiatives, discounts, and other factors on sales preferred.
- Strong Excel / Spreadsheet knowledge, including Pivot Tables/Formulas.
- Experience building models and reporting from scratch leveraging financial systems, SQL highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

- Staying updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and advancements in financial analysis techniques.
