What You’ll Be Doing
The core functionality of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide financial analysis and leadership in support of the Chief Corporate Development Officer. This role is expected to provide critical analysis and communicate clearly with all stakeholders. The Senior Analyst is expected to be highly organized and manage disparate information and propose solutions for reporting and communication of financial information to Operational and Executive Teams. To be successful in this position, the desired candidate would have strong communication skills, analytical proficiency, a strong sense of urgency, and a willingness and desire to lead. Success in this position will also be determined by vision, execution, and follow-through in all aspects of their job. The expectation is that the candidate will provide leadership in a complex, information asymmetric, and fast-paced environment where-in he/she will deliver results consistently and accurately, while helping the Chief Corporate Development Officer manage the workload of the department.
- Work with finance and accounting to ensure timely execution of reporting for joint venture.
- Create complex models for analyzing potential markets and companies for acquisition.
- Develop and update presentations for SCP and JV BOD as well as external interests such as lenders.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage workload and produce results independently and without excessive supervision.
- Support with the financial planning and budgeting process.
- Perform or assist with ad hoc tasks as assigned including but not limited to development and monitoring of revenue, expenses, metrics for performance (KPI), presentations for senior management meetings and projects assigned by the Chief Corporate Development Officer.
- Compile, evaluate, and transform information from various systems and databases for use in financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and be effective and decisive under pressure.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and the ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and deliver sound solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with the finance and accounting organization and an ability to use their data to create more robust analyses.
- Expected to carefully consider manner in which work is presented and include summarized analysis, data, and visual presentation that is most appropriate for each situation.
- All work should be done in a way that is traceable, explainable, and with thought to how it can be easily replicated for various scenario changes.
- Must communicate effectively with other departments including but not limited to: IT, Accounting, Revenue Cycle Services, and Operations.
Who/What We Are Looking For
- Must have strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Bachelors degree: Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Data/Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills, data presentation, technical capabilities and metric management.
- Must be able to execute on analysis and recommend outcomes based on interpretation of data.
- Must have 5 or more years of financial analysis or reporting experience.
- Healthcare finance experience a plus.
- M&A experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with immediate team and other internal partners.

- Must be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner via phone, e-mail, business letters, etc.
- Must be able to work under high stress and pressure while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Statistics is required.
- CPA Designation or Masters Degree in Business Administration or the above fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Analytical Software Suite, Billing Systems.
- Prior exposure to the following is a plus: VBA; JavaScript; MicroStrategy; Oracle BI; Tableau; SASS; R; STATA; HOST Analytics; Workday; Kronos.
- Knowledge of relational / multi-dimensional databases.
- Ability to write SQL; MDX Queries a plus.
- Data analysis skills including but not limited to: cleaning and analysis.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work in a high-stress, time sensitive environment.
