Works with Director of Client Finance to facilitate and manage client financial activities within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manages client revenue/budgets and client profitability
- Analytical review of revenue and employee utilization
- Assists in prioritizing assignments through daily and weekly updates to discuss progress, status, accuracy and deliverables
- Interface with client groups to assure accuracy and completeness of client data, reporting, and contract compliance
- Anticipates and rapidly responds to assigned special projects
- Aggressively pursues new ways to enhance overall agency profitability
Tasks
- Development of client staffing plans in conjunction with account and project management.
- Review monthly revenue and prepare revenue accruals based on business process.
- Monitor employee utilization and ensure time recording is current.
- Validate and activate projects within the financial system to ensure proper allocation of revenue by client/discipline/activity
- Create and improve reports which collect, summarize and analyze account information inclusive of Contribution Margin and Labor Reconciliations
- Stays abreast of agency and client competitive environment
- Represent Finance in client budget meetings regarding revenue and labor
Qualifications
- Must be an industry leader with 3-5 years of experience of client financial analysis within an advertising agency
- Must have strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships (Excellent communication skills, both written and oral)
- Strong problem solving skills, and detail-oriented
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
