Position: Senior Financial & Data Analyst

The Opportunity: The Senior Financial & Data Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and insight into all operational and financial activities regarding their effectiveness and profitability. The Senior Financial & Data Analyst must be innovative and ensure a focus on delivering accurate and quality output.
What You Will Do:
- Produce and manage reports, perform analyses and make recommendations to business leaders on operational business activities.
- Provide data-driven input during the annual planning process and during individual daily/weekly initiatives.
- Develop, interpret, evaluate, and research data into integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly metrics and alert business leaders to issues and trends.
- Develop predictive models of customer value, behavior, and responsiveness based on various business activities.
- Recognize and communicate financial implications of business decisions and strategies.
- Maintain relationships with IT and Finance teams to assure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the departments you support.
- Create process procedures, standards, and flows for current and future state initiatives/analysis.
- Lead meetings and develop presentations to easily explain analysis and drive actionable results.
The Experience You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Decision Sciences, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of business analysis experience.
- 2+ years of experience building dashboards utilizing Tableau.
- 2+ years of experience coding using SQL and the ability to demonstrate level of expertise.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage projects and processes end to end with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage/manipulate large data sets efficiently while keeping data very organized and clean.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to build consensus and project plans.
- Understanding of business calculations to determine return on investment, cost per acquisition, profitability, high-value segments, and market analysis.
- Ability to understand business objectives and requirements, organize and interpret results, and deliver insights and recommendations through effective reporting.
- Must be detail-oriented and very organized with the ability to multi-task to deliver timely output and handle shifting priorities professionally.
