Position Summary:
Develop processes to support growth strategy in both sales and service areas. Drive sales growth through training and onboarding of all new insurance employees, retention measurement and accountability of service team, high quality cross-sell training, and create quality assurance process and audits. Ensure effectiveness and efficiency to achieve department, agency, and club goals and to maximize profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Work in partnership with field sales leaders to set and achieve targets.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities to create operational efficiencies in sales and service departments with the goal of improving member retention and increased revenue.
- Subject matter expert in insurance workforce management metrics, to maximize lead optimization techniques, inbound/outbound efficiencies and reinforce optimal results through specialized training and accountability.
- Recruit, Hire, Train, Retain Insurance staff.
- Lead and mentor service and operation team to ensure they are motivated, engaged, and equipped to succeed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure our sales and service strategies remain competitive and effective.
- Maintain customer satisfaction, policy retention and policy profitability at budgeted levels.
- Ensure staff follows club, agency, and company policy and procedures.
- Liaison for agency with insurance companies and sales and service teams.
- Assist and train team to manage difficult insureds and circumstances/situations.
- Revise or direct modification of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
- Maintain and monitor calling processes to make sure customer follow-up is persistent.
- Monitor unit Member Relationships Management (MRM) initiatives to assure effectiveness in achieving MRM objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations on subordinates in a timely manner.
- Keep up with professional developments in area of expertise and engage in local networking events.
- Ability to read and interpret financial reports.
- Other duties as assigned by agency leadership.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, with two to five years related insurance and management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates & Licenses:
Property and Casualty license
Life and Health license
Attainment of or work toward an appropriate insurance designation (CIC, CPCU, ARM, etc.)
