Summary
The Financial Analyst supports the Chief Financial Officer in providing financial guidance to management and program managers, in order to improve and optimize current financial measurement metrics. The Financial Analyst demonstrates a commitment to customer service and works collaboratively with the finance and management teams to analyze overall business performance. Reports to the Business Development Director of Operations.

What You Will Do
- Design, implement and maintain project based financial measurement processes
- Provide financial guidance to management and program managers
- Work with managers to create program budgets and schedules
- Perform/assist in work plan reconciliation and reporting
- Provide weekly/monthly financial status updates to the Controller
- Review current financial metrics for improvement and optimization
- Research and implement cost savings strategies
- Support the Controller & Contracts Manager in organizing and creating proposals, purchase orders, and RFQs.
- Ad hoc duties (i.e. revenue projections, market research, and budgeting)
- Oversee all aspects of program finance tasks
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in business discipline: Finance, Accounting, Operations Management
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate internally to managers and externally to customers/suppliers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Finance or accounting experience – Preferred
- Experience working with engineering firms - Preferred
- QuickBooks or other accounting software experience – Preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
