About the role:
The Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst III as part of the launch of Global HQ FinOps Process and Reporting team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly created finance team and help shape the future of the US FP&A organization. The new hub will facilitate standardized and streamlined reporting, process alignment, and technology enablement across divisions.
The Financial Analyst III will report to the FinOps Process & Reporting Senior Manager. This position has a high degree of collaboration initially with the Finance Forward team, as well as interaction with corporate, divisional, and regional finance groups across the organization.
This is a hybrid position (in office minimum three days per week) with the flexibility to be located in Marlborough or Minnesota. You will have the opportunity to discuss your preferred working location with your Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generate and deliver regular financial reports to FP&A stakeholders and support AOP and forecast processes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in financial systems (EPM, Hyperion, SAP, Tableau) and related dependencies across suite of reports.
- Prepare, deliver, and ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial reports serviced through Global HQ FinOps to track performance and support decision-making across Global divisions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline & improve financial planning and analysis processes based on insights learned within role and partnership with FP&A teams, including better use of leveraging technology.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for select global divisions as it relates to report interpretation, data trends, and functionality.
- Ensure accuracy of reports and perform validations for reasonableness of data.
- Partner with FinOps Business Process team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reports.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with BSC Finance teams to effectively understand stakeholder needs and assess areas of opportunity.
- Help support intake process for FinOps reporting requests and play a critical role in building and supporting report enhancements and new capabilities.
- Document and maintain work instructions to drive process standardization and consistency.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and business support.
- Experience supporting businesses and creating management reporting.
- An eagerness to learn and drive process improvements.
- Strong financial analysis, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities/execute in a high-paced, matrixed organization.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Evolving skills in Excel, Hyperion, and SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- A desire and commitment to meaningfully contribute to organizational culture.
- Prior experience with data analytics or data visualization.
- Ability to hold self-accountable to a performance metric culture building performance excellence.
