Senior Cost Analyst / Cost Estimator (TS/SCI with Polygraph required)
At all levels, our Cost Analyst will utilize and enhance their skills in cost estimating and analysis by supporting programs related to the development and acquisition of space vehicles for various legacy programs of the DOD and Intelligence communities. The support and expertise you provide will directly impact the objectives of our national defense and security.
Responsibilities
As a part of an integrated cost estimating team, the Senior Cost Analyst / Cost Estimator will perform a variety of cost estimating and analysis support directly interfacing with program offices and assisting the development and presentation of management level briefings as needed. Additional support includes, but is not limited to, the areas of strategy development, scheduling, market research, evaluation criteria development, pre-solicitation documentation review, RFP documentation, Independent Program Review documentation, cost estimates and key decision point’s preparation, as well as trade studies and providing subject matter expertise during proposal evaluations.
Skills Required
We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent quantitative and analytical skills for senior level cost analyst positions.
- Must have a minimum of ten years relevant experience designing, developing, building cost models and economic analysis tools
- Experience in ground and space cost estimating is a major plus
- Must have experience in parametric cost estimating, hardware and software cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship (CER) development, ICEs, cost model development, cost risk assessment and analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and project forecasting
- US Citizenship Required; TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented with a focus on customer service
- Good communication skills, fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SEER, ICEAA certification, a current TS/SCI clearance, and familiarity with Systems Engineering and Acquisition policies are key qualifiers
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
