Financial Analyst Lead - Roseville, CA - Hybrid
- Six (6) or more years of finance or accounting experience
- Experience working with accounting principles and accounting software and databases
- Experience preparing financial analysis and financial reporting packages
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills and ability to learn other financial systems
- Strong attention to detail and accountability to provide accurate and timely revenue and expense projections, analysis, and reporting
- Must be a resident of the state of California
- Hybrid work environment 1-2 days a week in the office as needed for face-to-face and client meetings with the remainder of time remote work
Responsibilities
- Management of incentive payments, management of accounts payable information, and management of accounts payable disbursement
- Review provider claims and incentive payments for accuracy prior to the issuance of Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs) and paper warrants, review and validate CD-MMIS generated reports that support the balancing of each checkwrite, resolve discrepancies in balancing, and if claims payment errors are detected, work to reprocess the claim(s) and make adjustments as necessary
- Performs complex financial analyses including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, and other financial information and prepares reporting templates and other summarized financial information
- Interprets, summarizes, and uploads forecast information to financial systems to provide information about profit and loss
- Forecasts accurate and timely cash flow projections, sales projections, and expense projections to ensure that business needs are met
- Analyzes budget, midyear forecast and other financial information and prepares presentations with recommendations to senior management and the corporate office and communicates with leaders in the finance organization as well as account leadership regarding financial issues
- Develops financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements

- The pay range for this position is $69,100 - $98,700 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
