Salary: On-Target-Earning (OTE) includes a starting range of $80,000 - $100,000.
The compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to skills, experience and training, geographic location, and other business needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the base range for this role.

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, preparing reports, and supporting the company’s financial operations. This is a strategic and proactive role. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting principles, software, and demonstrate a solid and comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter, work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and have strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant and demonstrated hands-on accounting experience is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Bill.com); Experience with inventory management QuickBooks Enterprise Version experience is preferred.
- Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of General Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) and best business practices.
- Proficient in advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook with the ability to learn new skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have a growth mindset and motivation.
- Ability to work independently on assigned duties and take pride in ownership of responsibilities; a high level of accountability is expected.
- A team player who works well with internal and external business partners.
- Must be able to thrive and perform in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations

Operational attributes for this role include minimal supervision and handling tasks of moderately complex issues and problems that affect operational outcomes.
- Prepares, reviews, and maintains accurate and timely financial records, including general ledger entries, adjustments, deferrals, accruals, reconciling accounts, regular audits, maintaining proper documentation, and setting up, monitoring, and maintaining a standardized list of all charts of accounts.
- Performs month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Performs accurate and timely monthly sales commission calculations and accruals, and fields questions from sales representatives and management.
- Monitors and analyzes account and or budget variances, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Works closely with accounting and operations team members to fully support facilitate and execute all QuickBooks-related activities and interfaces.
- Take charge of inventory control and facilitate inventory count and reconciliation activities with the manufacturing team.
- Maintains fixed assets schedules and depreciation calculations.
- Prepares and files sales tax returns and other regulatory filings as required.
- Collaborates with management designee to improve accounting processes and procedures; consistently meets deadlines on projects and routine deliverables.
- Responsible for internal and external audits and company business surveys by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Works closely with external partners regarding financial records, returns, and taxes.
- Maintains confidentiality of financial information and handles sensitive data with discretion.
- Develops and maintains positive work relationships and effectively uses verbal and written communication to ensure successful workflow optimization.
- Participates in weekly team meetings reviewing current departmental issues, opportunities, accomplishments, and upcoming projects.
- Performs special projects as assigned and supports other accounting duties as needed.
