JOB SUMMARY
Currently seeking a full time Accounting Manager to join our team! This role involves collaborating with our buying group to assist business units in procuring cabinet products. It will primarily focus on transactional accounting and offers valuable learning opportunities for professional growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages Accounting functions including, but not limited to:
- Intercompany AP/AR: monthly reconciliation, balancing, Intercompany billing
- Accounts Payable: invoice management, payment, customer vendor relationship
- Freight billing, accounting and allocation
- Inventory, In transit
- Monthly Account Reconciliations: Inventory, AP, Interco
- Establish and maintain system processes, procedures, and policies, including accounts payable, Intercompany, and Inventory, In-transit in adherence to company guidelines
- Monthly Performance P&L Reporting: Sales, Profit Margin
Leads Monthly closing of financial records including, but not limited to:
- Monthly accruals of expenses
- Processing month end journal entries
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Assessment, review and booking of internal sales orders, internal revenue
- Provides accounting assistance and support to operations staff
- Liaison between the internal companies, meeting information needs and ensuring that proper records are maintained
- Responds to financial questions/concerns
- Setup and maintenance of AP vendors
- Ensures Vendor statements are reconciled monthly
- Backup for extended staff and department as necessary
- Set up and maintenance of internal customer relationships
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years or more of related experience required
- Experience working with accepted accounting principles and accounting software
- Must have AP system experience
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills
- Strong people skills for interacting with accountants and clients
- Excellent communication skills for communicating with support personnel
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Strong ethics and ability to keep information confidential
