Salary Range: $17.50 To $17.50 Hourly
PURPOSE: Assist members and IMCU employees with credit card questions. Handle Member Service calls. Assist members on Live Chat and answer messages from members through online banking and the mobile App.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Research and solve problems from all incoming calls (members, tellers, accounting, or branch managers)
- Determine how to handle charges presented on closed accounts
- Pull reports from the core and other programs
- Ability to navigate the lending software
- Answer Member Service calls and assist members
- Knowledge of all credit union online and mobile products
- All monetary corrections to credit card accounts
- Add new credit card applications to credit card system
- Order replacement cards and pins
- Update member information on card system and mark cards for travel
- Review all new accounts placed on system by other representatives
- Assist with problems and answer credit card questions for other representatives
- Handle Live Chats from members
- Reply to online banking and mobile app e-mails
- Ability to multi-task, handling multiple chats and e-mails at the same time
- Must possess excellent written communication skills
- Knowledge of all credit union share account products and procedures
- Update information in core as needed
- Research and solve member problems
- Must possess good computer skills
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 12 months experience with credit union or equivalent
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
