Job Description
Management of an operational accounting team.
- All necessary tasks within the scope of management (development of personnel as well as the operational and procedural framework conditions).
- Independent participation in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the respective company with all necessary individual tasks (Variance analysis on actuals, Assist with month-end close, Review results).
- Independently taking on special tasks when converting to USGAAP/IFRS.
- Independent examination of complex business relationships and issues as part of a consulting function.
- Initiating and participating in the optimization of financial processes.
- Application of methods and instruments of financial and investment planning and preparation of planning calculations.
- Ensuring effective communication with internal and external interfaces and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in a comparable position in an industrial environment with management responsibility.
- 5 years' general ledger or audit experience.
- 3-4 years in a leadership role.
- 3-4 years in Fixed Assets systems.
