Estimation Manager - Renewables
Location: Remote - Preference to people in EST/CST time zones
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Renewable Energy Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Senior Estimator will play a pivotal role in assessing and forecasting costs associated with renewable energy projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed cost estimations for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.
Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare accurate material and labor estimates.
Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate and refine estimates throughout project lifecycle.
Research and stay current on industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to inform cost projections.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure quality standards.
Prepare comprehensive cost reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience 5 years as an Estimator in the renewable energy sector, with a strong understanding of solar and energy storage technologies.
Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., AccuBid, WinEst, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
