Job Summary:
As a financial analyst, you will analyze financial data, trends, and market conditions to provide insights and recommendations to businesses or individuals. This includes creating financial models, forecasting future performance, and assessing investment opportunities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Market Research - Work closely with the Acquisition team to gather property and market data including site information, governmental regulations, economic growth, demographics, real estate market information including rent and sales comparables, absorption and occupancy trends, and amenities and school districts.
- Investment Underwriting - Prepare investment models of real estate development projects including pro forma income and expense statements, development budgets, and investment return summaries and recommended capital structures.
- Development Packages - Create market study and investment presentations consistent with company guidelines and investor requirements. These reports include analysis of project economics, market studies, development timelines, financial statements, etc.
- Transaction Management - Work with the Director of Finance to source development loans, participate in the negotiation of term sheets and loan documents. Provide deal execution support for acquisitions and sales including due diligence items, analyzing third-party reports, coordinating with all parties including lenders and consultants, and acting as a liaison with other departments of the company.
- Liability Management - Responsible for preparing loan draw packages, maintaining draw schedules for various loans and credit facilities, and providing reporting and ongoing compliance assistance to investors and lenders.
- Other duties/projects as determined by management.

Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree required.
- Two to four years of work experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated analytical skills (ability to analyze NOI, DSCR, LTV, LTC, and IRR) and related experience with various investment types.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts while under pressure.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to do what you say you will and never knowingly omit or misrepresent information or give a false impression of the company and its employees.
- Ability to proactively see the problems faced by the team and design solutions.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
Essential Functions:
- Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to move around the work environment including stairs and construction sites.
- Lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
