Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a qualified Business Analyst.
Job Responsibilities
The Business Analyst is responsible for the overall operations of SmartDRILL within their assigned area. They ensure NDS Performance Drilling technologies deliver maximum value by engaging the customer and closely working with drilling and remote operations, as well as training groups and technical support.
- Performance Products Operations
- Provide drilling performance analysis including interaction with customer and field personnel to obtain information as needed.
- Actively contribute to the development of the Performance Drilling Knowledge Base through improvements to the tool as well as data entry and analysis.
- Provide support to drilling operations during field trials and develop sufficient knowledge of the applicable Drilling Performance products with the drilling contractor and operator.
- Create reports for internal and external distribution to document the value of the products and recommended next steps in technology adoption.
- Track and report active job and trial activity. Work with all required functions in the organization to ensure adequate staffing, resources, and support for current operations; anticipate future needs for the same in close collaborations with geomarkets.
- Sales Support
- Support account managers and operations managers during sales calls and customer visits, including technical discussions, product presentations, and product training.
- Identify, validate, and qualify opportunities for application of NDS technologies.

Minimum Qualifications
- Understanding of the drilling process
- Strong analytical skills: Demonstrated ability to develop analysis spreadsheets and reports.
- Effective verbal and written communicator.
- 2 years of experience in drilling operations and drilling performance roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in drilling operations and drilling performance roles
- Proficient knowledge of Spotfire and PowerBI applications.
Essential Skills / Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Occasional travel will be required (less than 20% of time).
