Liberty Personnel is working with a growing manufacturing client in Delaware County. Our client is looking to add an up and comer who is looking to take the next step in their career into management. CPA and/or public accounting background with manufacturing industry experience is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month end close and integrity of General Ledger, including account analyses and account reconciliation.
- Review and analysis of balance sheet accounts.
- Handle cost accounting - standard and job cost.
- Assist CFO with preparation of financial statements.
- Management of company's internal controls.
- Improve processes for month end close and reporting.
- Ensure GAAP compliance with financial reporting.
- Assist with external audit and year end tax reporting.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
- CPA preferred.
- 4+ years’ successful track record of accounting roles of increasing responsibility.
- Mix of public accounting and corporate accounting role experience preferred.
- Manufacturing company background strongly desirable.
- US GAAP compliance knowledge.
- Cost accounting experience is preferred.
- ERP software background desirable.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.
