Summary
The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Senior Business Analyst is to work closely with the business and operations department to determine their requirements and collaborate with the technical teams to facilitate the changes and process improvements. This will encompass all Supply Chain areas of the business, including but not limited to Procure to Pay, Planning, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Work with Business Users to identify, document, and resolve issues arising from the use of JD Edwards Enterprise functionality within various lines of business.
- Capture business needs and translate those needs into measurable requirements that can be coded, tested, and successfully implemented and adopted by the business.
- Manage the creation and execution of test plans, ensuring that the results meet the specified business requirements while supporting QA activities as needed.
- Training of business users on applications and configurations.
- Participate in the development process in a support role through the software product lifecycle.
- Participate in cross-functional integrated teams to address business and adoption issues (e.g., user experience, data flow, business process flow).
- Contributes and participates in the successful rollout of JDE enhancements.
- Triage reported defects and document root cause analyses to avoid production service interruptions.
- Periodically check and fix issues that come up in integrity and reconciliation reporting.
- Review and make recommendations for application of JDE system patching or updates.
- Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
- Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
- Conduct research on emerging application enhancements related to low code, no code development tools inherent to JD Edwards.
- Work with vendors to facilitate the efficient implementation of new software products, systems, and enhancements as well as the resolution of any adaptation issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years’ experience with business systems analysis, requirements authoring and hands on application support in large enterprise environments.
- 4+ years of experience of implementing and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Software, version 9.2.
- 3+ years of experience with JD Edwards UX One and Orchestrator.
- Experience in design and implementation of JDE modules.
- Experience with lifecycle, inventory management and manufacturing processes.
- Successfully completed at least one full implementation involving multiple site configuration set up with proven incorporation of structured planning and testing processes.
- Experience with business process analysis and follow through improvement implementations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The Supply Chain Senior Business Analyst role operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or exert force, up to 10 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderate.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Travel as required by the business. There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.
