Caring Transitions Baltimore Metro is a locally owned and operated company located in Baltimore and serving the entire metro area. We are looking for a full-time (approximately 30 hours/week) professional to join our team. A background in estate sales and/or knowledge of antiques would be helpful but not necessary.
In this physically active role, you deliver excellent customer service while safely and efficiently helping clients downsize, relocate, and liquidate through online estate sales. Candidates must be technologically adept and have consistent, reliable transportation as our job sites change nearly every day. Every day is different. The ideal candidate will be friendly, customer service-oriented, and have a passion for serving others. Timeliness, a can-do attitude, and attention to detail are critical in this role. Honesty, integrity, and reliability are also paramount. The ideal candidate should be in good physical condition, able to lift 30 lbs and reach items higher than 4 ft. Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments (we provide work gloves, aprons, etc.). The candidate will be expected to work occasional weekends.

Here are the duties you can expect in this role:
- Online sales: Sort, catalog, and photograph online auction items on site. Share “showstopper” items with administrative & marketing coordinator. Ensure site team has uploaded appropriate pictures and descriptions.
- Manage operations for assigned projects: In concert with Field Supervisor, this role provides structure for and direct supervision of Caring Transitions Team Members. It includes checking in daily with staff and Jobber to ensure resources are available when needed and the project is on track. Assures projects are finished by project deadlines and assures their quality.
- Organization: Provides consistent organization to ensure that the team can perform optimally. This includes ensuring that daily job information is entered into Jobber by staff and upholding CT policies and procedures. In concert with Management Team, updates operational procedures on a regular basis and reinforces changes to team members.
- Communication: Provide regular updates to staff and manager on project status. Communicates opportunities, challenges, and other matters on a routine basis.
At every step of the process:
- Work independently and thoroughly: so that no other team members need to go back over the work performed. Try to touch items only once.
- Attendance: Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts is required. Employees risk termination for no-call, no-show.
- Positive communication: Communicates in a positive manner with clients, peers, and Managers.
- Exceptional customer service: Provides exceptional customer service to safely move, pack/unpack, and stage/resettle client household items.
