Senior Tax Accounting Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (Midtown)
Work style: Hybrid 3 days/wk in office (Tue/Wed/Thu)
Position Summary & Key Areas Of Responsibility:
- Prepare quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provisions including the following ASC-740 items:
- Uncertain tax position accounting and reporting
- Valuation allowance assessment and reporting
- Interim tax calculation and effective tax rate calculation
- Permanent and temporary tax adjustment calculation
- Record journal entries as needed to general ledger
- Assist in tax accounting analysis, research, and documentation.
- Work on tax accounting special projects
- Support tax process documentation and SOX controls
- Prepare income tax account reconciliations.
- Review US federal and state tax calculations and quarterly estimated payments prepared by public accounting firm.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 - 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax department
- Understanding of accounting and general ledger systems and processes
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as a team player
- Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA license is preferred
