Description

Responsibilities:

Spearhead in-depth data exploration, model formulation, and the creation of insightful reports and dynamic dashboards to bolster the organization's data-centric decision-making processes.
Efficiently orchestrate the monthly closure of the general ledger, managing all facets from journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to credit card coding and income statement variance analysis.
Craft consolidated monthly financial statements aligned with GAAP, accompanied by incisive analysis and commentary for strategic distribution.
Collaborate on shaping the annual budgeting process, engaging in continuous reforecasts throughout the year for enhanced financial adaptability.
Work closely with Operations Leaders to dissect revenue structures, scrutinize waste and disposal costs, and pinpoint opportunities for optimization. Develop innovative reporting metrics to effectively communicate operational results.
Undertake cross-functional training in purchasing, accounts payable, and payroll functions, serving as a proficient backup resource as needed.
Lead distinctive special projects and analyses, responding dynamically to ad hoc requests throughout the year.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field along with 5 or more years of accounting and financial analysis
Proficient in analysis and management systems
Thorough understanding of financial concepts, GAAP, and ethical standards.
Highly organized, adept at prioritizing tasks.
Quick analysis of financial and operational data for trends
Attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
