The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in accounting and finance, preferably in the technology industry
They should be well-versed in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and have a proven track record of senior-level accounting
This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role
Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas)
Solid knowledge of financial statement analysis and projection
Experience with accounting software and databases
Strong attention to detail with an ability to organize and prioritize tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
Salary $65,000 - $90,000 per year
