Description and Requirements
As a Partner Manager you will own key alliance partnerships and be responsible for strategic business planning to support the North America ISO organization. This position requires a solid understanding of industry market trends, marketing & sales, the ability to develop and drive cross-functional collaboration & efficiencies with our partners. You will be responsible for identifying and developing marketing and sales opportunities with partners that support Lenovo's growth goals. Must be comfortable working in a self-directed, matrixed environment and independently deliver results.
Key Role:
- Lead alliance relationships within NA ISO and be the expert across partner priorities and programs.
- Develop and grow strong connections with key stakeholders across WW Alliances, Category, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to maximize joint growth opportunities and ensure operational excellence.
- Develop, define, and convey Lenovo and partner joint priorities and opportunities to maximize regional funding.
- Identify market trends, assess competitive risks to lead negotiations with partners.
- Own partner engagement model across NA to facilitate strategic communication within NA ISO.
- Ensure alignment between Lenovo and partners, including consistency and governance for global partner programs and KPI standards.
- Identify key risks/opportunities, propose creative solutions and influence cross-functionally towards win-win outcomes.
- Oversee programs get executed in cooperation with segment leadership in sales and marketing.
Basic Requirements:
- 10+ years of industry experience with a Bachelor's degree. MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of previous experience in an Alliances and Partner Management role.
Desired Requirements:
- Strong understanding of Lenovo business strategy, marketing & sales planning/programs and execution.
- Highly motivated individual capable of managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders in a constant changing landscape.
- Strong hands-on, results-driven mentality combined with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.
- Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to interact with senior-level executives.
- Extensive knowledge of Lenovo and/or partner company products and services.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skill to identify core issues and propose solutions throughout the various phases of a negotiation with a focus on a win-win outcome.
- Keen attention to detail.
