Position: Event and Leasing Specialist
Location: Indian Creek Apartment and Townhome, Hamilton County in Cincinnati, OH
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and many holidays, including planning and overseeing events on major holidays such as Memorial Day and July 4th.
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Plan and coordinate social events based on resident interests, staying within the set budget.
- Negotiate with outside vendors such as caterers and entertainers, submitting contracts for final approval.
- Prepare the community newsletter, featuring resident interviews, event photos, and future event announcements.
- Oversee the content and accuracy of the community website.
- Respond to inquiries and schedule appointments using the Signature method.
- Show and lease apartments to qualified prospects as needed.
- Review and explain lease paperwork and community rules to new residents.
- Ensure lease paperwork is accurate and approved by the Community Manager.
- Accurately enter traffic, move-ins, and leasing information into the Yardi system.
What We Are Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with up to two years of relevant experience.
- Event-planning or related experience is a definite plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- A valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance are required.
- Willing to submit to a drug and background check if offered this position.
