Job Summary:
Analyzes and reviews financial data, prepares financial statements and reports requiring advanced application and use of concepts, theories, principles, practices, regulations, and terminology of accounting, independently. Applies applicable regulations, policies and procedures. Works with affiliates of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate monthly accounting close process and preparation of monthly financial statements for multiple affiliate companies and consolidate financial results.
- Formats, designs, and prepares moderate to complex financial reports and schedules.
- Coordinate and reconcile intercompany accounting between affiliates.
- Coordinate completion of affiliate tax returns working with outsourced tax preparer.
- Completes complex reconciliations of unique data requiring knowledge and understanding of multiple transactions sources.
- Prepares complex journal and closing entries as well as general ledger accounts.
