Immediate need for an experienced Controller with Job Costing experience to join an established and reputable Commercial General Contractor and Real Estate Developer headquartered in Atlanta. This role will report to ownership and manage a small accounting staff. With over $150 MM in current project work, you will be joining a very stable organization with decades of experience.

- Billings
- Weekly cash update
- Bank Reconciliations
- Monthly Closeout (Monthly Billings for Cost Projections)
- Intercompany AR/AP
- Year End Closeout
- Insurance Renewal GL/Property
- Bonding
- Taxes
- Business License
- 1099 sent out by the 31st of January
- HR/Payroll/ Adams Keegan
- IT
- Deposit checks
- Cut checks for vendors and subs.
- Credit Card reconciliation
- Cell Phones/Computers inventory
- Sales and Use Taxes
- Work with outside auditors on Review
- Insurance Audits
- Input data into SAGE
- Manage Certificates of Insurance
- Auto Reimbursements (Yearly Update for Federal Approved Mileage Reimbursement)
- Expense Reimbursements
- On Boarding new staff
- Cost Coding
- Job Costing
- Gross Receipts Tax
- Determination of Payroll, Taxes and Insurance (Labor Burden) for Estimates
- Project Filing of Notice of Commencements
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with over 8 years of corporate accounting experience with a minimum of 4 years in Construction or Project Services with a detailed understanding of Job Costing
- Knowledge of Job Costing Software required
- Sage 100 or 300 experience a plus
- Previous Management experience required
- CPA a plus
