ASM Global, a leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, is seeking a fulltime Accounts Payable Clerk for the Destination El Paso. This role is responsible for providing assistance in the accounting department by processing accounts payable invoices for the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process all account payable invoices.
- Match payment vouchers with invoices, and remittance documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and internal clients for inquiries related to accounts payable activity.
- Process new vendor applications and/or vendor updated forms and submit them to corporate office.
- Match purchase orders to invoices, check quantities, unit price and extensions.
- Code invoices to general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile invoices with purchase orders weekly and file any completed purchase orders.
- Enter any manual checks into accounts payable module.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- The ideal candidate should have at least one year office/clerical experience and strong mathematical skills.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Must be able to prioritize schedules, work independently and follow instructions.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
