North Coast Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Credit Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the risk involved in extending credit or lending money by performing complex credit analysis and review of financial information of individuals or businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit data and financial information of individuals or companies to determine the risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
- Prepare reports based on credit and financial information.
- Evaluate credit worthiness of potential customers.
- Monitor and update credit files.
- Communicate credit decisions to management.
- Provide support to loan officers and underwriters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of two years’ banking or credit union experience.
- Working knowledge of commercial underwriting methods, including commercial real estate, real estate acquisition, development and construction, and commercial and industrial business term loans and lines of credit.
- Understanding of business cash flows, tax returns and financial statements, financial ratios, terminology and business credit principles.
- Completion of a credit analyst training program is a plus.
