What You Will Achieve
As an Associate Business Analyst, you will be at the center of our operations and you’ll find that everything we do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to quality. You will have the important role of developing written end-user requirements for info systems used in various laboratory processes. These various processes are used to generate high-quality data in a regulated Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) setting to support our vaccine programs according to Standard Operating Procedures. You will perform user testing of info systems and execute test scripts, as needed, prior to validation and deployment in the Production environment. In addition, you will be part of a dynamic team and should possess a strong work ethic and collaborative spirit.
Your significant experience of applying knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices of the discipline will make you a critical member of the team. You are proactive in contributing to all team discussions and creating an environment of collaboration.

How You Will Achieve It
- Utilize business analysis skills to foster the development of software solutions for Vaccine Research and Development.
- Assist in the development and writing of end-user requirements for info system builds requested by functional assay leads as well as for functional enhancements to existing builds.
- Assist and perform end-user testing of various info system builds against end-user requirements to ensure that these systems function as intended by the end user.
- Collaborate with laboratory assay SMEs and our Informatics organizations on info system projects according to Vaccine Research and Development priorities.
- Attend regular meetings with functional assay leads to review and monitor various info system projects.
- Author, review and approve technical reports and various standard operating procedures (SOPs), as assigned.
- Maintain strict compliance with departmental and site safety regulations.
- Stay current on all departmental and corporate training.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, life sciences, or a related computational field and 2 years of experience.
- Knowledge of the software validation lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate and work in team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Nice-to-Have
- Hands-on industry experience with the development and testing of info systems.
- General experience with laboratory processes and understanding of pharmaceutical standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- General knowledge of information management systems such as LabWare LIMS and statistical analysis applications such as SAS.
- Working knowledge of SQL and basic understanding of computer programming.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Occasional evening and weekend work to meet critical deliverables.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in our Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary. Our compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned based on the location of hire. The United States salary range provided does not apply to Tampa, FL or any location outside of the United States.
