As a Senior Analyst, Tax at RXO, you’ll support the Company’s Federal and International tax function and be responsible for income tax return compliance and income tax provision preparation.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Assist with all aspects of the US corporate income tax return including the international component of the US tax return (Form 1118, 5471, 8858, 8865, 8975, 8991, 8992, 8993, 5713, Fincen, etc.), ensuring compliance with applicable federal regulations.
- Assist with Federal and International tax provision.
- Assist with managing the third-party preparation of foreign country income tax returns and transfer pricing documentation.
- Prepare calculations including but not limited to depreciation, officer compensation, FDII, equity compensation, and R&D credit.
- Prepare Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT tax calculations supporting the international provisions (E&P, PTEP, §988, §987, FTCs, APB 23, etc.)
- Support reporting efforts to upper management for effective tax rate, cash taxes and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls.
- Prepare reconciliation for tax accounts and monthly fixed assets.
- Manage other tax related analyses and projects.
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or taxation.
- 2 years of experience within a large, multinational company’s corporate income tax department or within a public accounting firm.
- Experience with U.S. corporate and U.S. international tax law.
It’d be great if you also have:
- CPA credential.
- Public company experience.
- Advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation.
- Strong knowledge of OneSource tax software.
- Experience with Oracle, HFM, Alteryx, and/or BNA.
