Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in month end close processes, preparing journal entries and performing assigned account reconciliations.
- Prepares reconciliations of general ledger accounts for multiple ERP systems.
- Performs analysis on inventory accounts and cost.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Prepares reports for external audit.
- Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts from multiple ERP systems.
- Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets of the Company to the financials.
- Maintains and balances all intercompany accounts.
- Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
- Participates in special projects, as directed or approved by the Controller.
- Ensures that deadlines are met in accordance with closing dates set by management.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality.
- Performs in a manner consistent with company Core Values and Purpose.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment on significant matters following established accounting principles and best practices.
- Attends all scheduled meetings.
- Manages any stress on the job, including but not limited to meeting deadlines.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting.
- At least three years’ experience in acquisition integration preferred.
- At least three years’ experience in accounting and consolidations preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of general accounting practices.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Skilled in use of computer and software, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with or ability to learn ERP system such as Epicor.
- Fluently speak, read, and write English.
- Skilled in time management.
- Skilled in multi-tasking.
- Ability to learn and perform primary functions of positions within department.
- Ability to manage stress.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, transporting supplies or equipment, sitting for extended periods of time at a desk using a computer, and occasionally lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 25 pounds.
- Position spends approximately 90% of time sitting at a desk and 10% standing or walking.
- Vision and hearing must be within or correctable to within normal range.
- Must be able to work from the office and be able to work on time on a regular basis during regular business hours. Hybrid work could be available after the training period. Must be available to work evenings/weekends to meet project deadlines.
This position earns a salary range: $72,000-$102,000 annually plus eligibility for 5% bonus annually and annual merit increases based on performance.
