Our client, a major Oil & Gas company is seeking a Business Analyst to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX for a 12-month contract (long-term).
The Business Analyst will support contracting workflows, and transaction management, with specific focus on E-signature (DocuSign) and Contract Lifecycle Management (Ironclad) for the Law Digital Platform.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the current state and future needs of our legal processes and workflows, and propose solutions that align with our strategic goals and best practices.
- Collaborate with legal professionals, IT teams, and business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Manage the configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Contracting tools, specifically DocuSign and Ironclad, and provide training and support to end users.
- Monitor and report on the performance, usage, and compliance of our e-signature platform, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on the latest trends and technologies in legal process automation and e-signature solutions, and provide recommendations and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for system support and process optimization.
- Define and drive strategic and operational contracting initiatives together with the Contract Operations Manager.
- Collect and analyze data to identify root causes of process issues and challenges.
- Format and deliver accurate data, using programs/reports to enable leadership to make strategic business decisions.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the legal domain.
- Strong knowledge of legal processes and workflows, and experience with legal process automation and e-signature tools, specifically DocuSign.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, use cases, user stories, wireframes, etc.
