Brian’s cousin Andy Schwartz has been training for months for the IRONMAN Wisconsin race to be held on September 9, 2018. The IRONMAN triathlon is a 2.4 mile open water swim, a 112 mile bike, and a 26.2 mile run. It will take at least half a day to complete.
To make this challenge even more meaningful, Andy is dedicating his race to Brian and the Brian D. Silber Memorial Fund. As Andy trains, he thinks about Brian’s fierce commitment to his family and friends and his incredible generosity and kindness. Andy also continues to be impressed by Brian’s desire to improve the outcome for others with spinal cord tumors. Andy is racing to honor Brian’s memory and to support Brian’s Fund.
Please consider donating to Brian’s Fund in support of Andy’s IRONMAN race. Thank you!
UPDATE: Andy completed Ironman Wisconsin! Even more successful than his 12 hour 54 minute time was his fundraiser of over $7,000 for Brian’s fund. It was an absolutely amazing experience for everyone involved. Andy is so appreciative of your support and generosity!!
