Position Overview
The Manager will oversee the collections function and team for the company in order to maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt risk, including partnering with customers and internal departments for proactive management of high-risk accounts.
Job Description
Manage the collection of accounts receivable balances and provide guidance to ensure appropriate resolution.
Review non and short payments with team members. Troubleshoot variances and provide resolution to associates.
Prepare and present recurring reporting for AR/Finance/Sales leadership, for DSO, bad debt, high-risk accounts, and other ad hoc analysis as necessary.
Develop and execute plans to reduce/minimize delinquency.
Monitor high-risk accounts and ensure any financial exposure is escalated to senior management on a timely basis.
Manage a team of associates.
Coordinate and manage documentation/information as required for external audits.
Maintain and update process documentation.
Reconcile and process adjustments for bad debt and accounts receivable balance sheet accounts. Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.

Skills
Special Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems and software (e.g., GL package, Financial reporting system) preferred.
Proficiency in Spanish language preferred but not required.
