We are looking for a dedicated
Amazon Business Analyst to join the newly created team for Enterprise. To enlarge the market, we want to invest in a new go-to-market strategy with Onliners, specifically Amazon, representing 50% of this channel segment. Increasing our footprint and market share in the SMB and Prosumer segments is a top priority for GN over the next 3 years. A new business analyst role will help us understand our performance and provide information to guide our business decisions with Amazon.
What will you be doing?
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Support the team with interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports that answer business requirements, transforming raw data into meaningful insights.
- Understand, translate, and analyze all Amazon-specific KPIs and acronyms, providing the sales team with the appropriate data and information to support their business decisions and investment cases.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
- Stay current on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Conduct meetings and create presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Document and communicate results of your research.
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management (Sales, Marketing, Global Sales & Channel Management, Finance).
- Participate actively in the Amazon business review on a weekly basis with the sales team, monthly with the extended management team, and quarterly with the executive management team.
- Work closely with Amazon AVS to obtain accurate data and share ad hoc dashboards.
- Support distributors with relevant data to improve supply and track pass-through claims.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis and maintain systems processes, including delivering monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
- Author and update internal and external documentation related to the AMZ business, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience in analytics and systems development.
- High proficiency with SQL and database management; strong knowledge of Power BI is a must.
- Proven analytical abilities.
- Experience in generating process documentation and reports.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Background in mathematics, physics, or engineering is a plus, with an understanding of algorithms.
- Ability to work in a team environment with various cultures, covering three main regions: NA, EMEA, and APAC.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can vary. In addition to a base salary, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end. Compensation for roles at GN depends on various factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
