What You'll Do
- Position involves performing third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections
- Perform plan reviews of commercial buildings, report review and preparation, preparation of budget proposals, and management of projects related to building system inspections
- Other expectations include the ability to interact with senior staff members and mentor junior staff members
- Additional responsibilities include marketing and business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of five years of experience in building inspection and code compliance
- B2 certification required plus at least one of the following: M2, E2, P2
- The ability to carry 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 lbs to waist height
- Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites – Mileage will be reimbursed
