Description
This individual will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks and for assisting the Family Office Manager with the day to day management of the business and personal affairs of the family. The candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, and must be proactive, resourceful, and efficient while always operating with professionalism and the utmost confidentiality.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Record and pay bills through multiple processing channels.
- Record journal entries (debits and credits) for all income, expense, and investing activity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers for multiple entities.
- Reconcile and manage financial accounts.
- Manage payroll and related tax payments, benefits, and filings.
- Prepare accurate financial and investment reporting utilizing existing accounting software and MS Excel.
- In concert with the Family Office Manager, manage the business and personal affairs of the founder and family including administrative tasks and concierge activity including travel and communication with vendors and associates.

Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience with basic accounting and bookkeeping, including payroll - required.
- Bachelor’s degree - preferred.
- Experience with business accounting software (e.g., Sage 50, QuickBooks).
- Exhibit professionalism with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Strong computer skills with an excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and rapidly changing demands.
