As a Senior Treasury and Accounts Payment Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with our Operations Team to oversee the depositing of funds into client accounts, facilitating the digitization of payments, monitoring payment disbursements, conducting bank reconciliations, and managing payment disputes within an eCommerce framework. Your role encompasses managing the activities related to card transactions, including monitoring credit lines and handling credit card failures.
Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in supervising and supporting a team of staff members responsible for various aspects of treasury and payment administration. Your leadership will ensure the smooth functioning of all operational activities, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the depositing of funds into client accounts to facilitate digitized payments.
- Monitor and manage the disbursement of payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Manage payment disputes and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Supervise and support staff members in their respective roles, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Manage direct reports, ensuring their professional development and performance.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume invoice processing environment.
- Hands-on expertise in accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), general ledger, credit card processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) or equivalent degree with a focus on Accounting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills honed through client and vendor interactions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros and pivot tables.
- Strong attention to detail, paired with excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- Professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to report to our Rockaway, New Jersey office for work.
