As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you'll lead financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities with a focus on the partnership between Intuit TurboTax and Credit Karma. You will enable teams to deliver on financial and strategic objectives through developing complex forecasts and analyzing how we perform against them. This analysis is shared with leadership and will inform business decisions. You will own models that forecast complex metrics, revenue and expenses. You should have a high sense of ownership and attention to detail, a natural interest in continuously improving the way the business is viewed and a strong ability to communicate with non-financially minded peers. This role will report to the Director of FP&A.
What you'll do:
- Partner with cross-functional business partners across Intuit and Credit Karma to develop driver based and bottoms up models to forecast and budget for key metrics, revenue and expenses
- Own and enhance models that project key metrics, revenue and expenses
- Investigate and communicate financial performance variance relative to expectations
- Evaluate the financial trade-offs of business decisions that drive revenue and expense
- Develop business metrics and KPIs to increase company understanding of investments and their relative efficiency
- Streamline existing processes, identify efficiency opportunities and build processes from the bottom up
- Work with stakeholders to develop self service tools and automated reports
- Identify and quantify financial/operational risks and opportunities to the business, and drive ad-hoc business projects
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field
- 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience (experience in high growth or tech companies preferred)
- A rigorous analytical background with experience effectively communicating findings to non-financial partners
- Extremely proficient in Excel and the Google Doc suite
- Self-starter, intellectually curious and a fast learner
Nice To Have:
- Experience developing, maintaining and enhancing complex driver-based revenue and expense models
- Extensive experience partnering with cross-functional leaders across different business units
- Adept at telling a compelling business story through analysis and presentation
- Able to focus on multiple projects at once while maintaining expert organization
- Experience with a financial planning system such as Planful and/or Data Visualization tools (e.g., Looker)
- Experience and awareness of tax seasonality
