Adecco has partnered with a manufacturing company in Englewood, NJ in search of an Accounting Manager to lead an Accounting team and oversee financial operations. This Accounting Manager opportunity is a full-time, permanent position, which offers a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
- Supervise an accounting team, including the review of journal entries and reconciliations.
- Drive process improvement.
- Oversee the creation, revision, and deletion of chart of accounts and business units.
- Manage daily journal entries, fixed assets, CIP, credit card transactions, and bank transactions.
- Serve as the point of contact with financial institutions for cash management, financial forecasting, and cost control.
- Approve weekly payments for ACH, wire transfers, and checks and resolve payment-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with external auditors.
- Assess J-SOX compliance in relevant areas.
- Work closely with department leaders and the parent company on financial matters, escalating to senior management when needed.
- Cash management.
- Meet deadlines for financial closings and ensure accurate cash management.
Requirements include:
- CPA required
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Total Compensation:
$120,000-140,000
