Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Sr. Tax Analyst to join our team in Nashville, TN.
This role will be responsible for preparation and review of transfer pricing and international tax return forms and disclosures included within the US Federal consolidated tax return and Canada tax return. Support transfer pricing information requests and analysis. Perform international tax special projects and identify opportunities to reduce the effective tax rate.
*** This is a HYBRID role in the office 1-3 day a week @ the HQ in Nashville, TN. ***
Responsibilities
Prepare and review transfer pricing and international tax calculations (eg GILTI, FDII, Subpart F) and tax forms (e.g., forms 5471, 8858, 8865 and 1118), election statements and disclosures included within the US consolidated return as well as assist with Canadian tax compliance.
Assist with reconciliation of recorded tax provision to filed tax returns (i.e. book to return adjustments) as it relates to international tax positions included within the US return. Support tax accounting by conducting monthly and quarterly close activities, relative to foreign tax credit model and, as needed related to the foreign units.
Support the Tax Risk Management COE in understanding the reporting mechanics of international tax positions taken within the US tax return and consult on responses to examiner information requests. Support Tax Consulting COE on various transaction related projects including modeling results using E&P and other tax attributes.
Assist with US-Canada Advanced Pricing Agreement negotiations and IDRs.
Prepare and support Country by Country reporting and Pillar 2 compliance, managing information requests from local tax and finance teams.
Support International Tax Analysis Leader on various special projects including but not limited to identifying planning opportunities to reduce the effective tax rate and/or repatriate cash. Research tax issues and changes in regulations/pronouncements and prepare related analysis to support Tax Consulting COE planning efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
2 years of experience in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm
1-2 years of experience in International Tax preferred, but not required
CPA, CMI, CAE, MST, or MBA preferred
