ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Research Analysts to join our team in the DMV area!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive research and analyze data to support decision making and strategic planning.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth research on various topics, including market trends, industry analysis, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
- Gather data from multiple sources, including databases, reports, websites, and primary research.
- Analyze and interpret data using statistical methods and qualitative techniques.
- Identify key trends, patterns, and insights from research findings.
- Develop reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate research findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and emerging research methodologies.
- Assist in the implementation of research projects, including survey development and data collection.
- Support the development and maintenance of research databases and knowledge repositories.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience, 2 of which are in analytical work.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline; OR 4 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in using statistical software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in conducting research using various sources, including databases, online platforms, and academic journals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, data visualization techniques, and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of data collection and survey design.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups).
Clearance Requirements:
Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a Poly.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
