Job SummaryThe Business Analyst will be a critical business partner to our The Home Depot Sales Team. This role will be responsible for routine and ad hoc reporting, including but not limited to sales analysis, departmental program profitability, sales growth strategies, gross profit/pricing analysis, customer projects/initiatives, as well as assisting with sales presentations.
Essential Job Functions- Provide on-going analysis of customer metrics and financial impacts to sales team.
- Develop and support growth and productivity metrics and analysis that drive business decisions to ensure attainment of agreed upon plans.
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly sales performance reviews, monthly forecasting, and annual planning.
- Provide financial analyses (forecasts, POS metrics, profitability, costing, etc.) to support decision making.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments on initiatives and new projects.

Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree in business management, accounting, or finance.
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, preferably within Sales, Operations or Finance.
- Proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Experience with The Home Depot and The Home Depot systems a plus.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Minimal travel may be required during project launches or customer meetings.
