What you'll do...
Data and Digital Literacy: Possesses knowledge of data collection modes, techniques, and tools; data analytics. Responsibilities include articulating the levers that influence data, ensuring data quality, and organizing processes for analysis. Develops and implements technology changes across multiple processes within assigned area of work.
Environmental Protection: Possesses knowledge of environmental policies and procedures; applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations involving the environment. Responsibilities include operating commonly used tools and equipment for evaluating air, water, and waste pollution, supporting regulatory visits, preparing audit reports, and assisting in integrating environmental considerations into process design.
Operational Excellence: Possesses knowledge of organizational processes; root cause analysis techniques; department workflows; Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and One Best Way (OBW) processes. Responsibilities include explaining the operational functions and key functional roles of assigned department or unit, clarifying the role of each department, and describing the interdependence of support and line operating functions.
Partnership & Collaboration: Possesses knowledge of stakeholder identification and engagement techniques. Responsibilities include owning the delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others and supporting process updates and changes.
Employee Health and Safety: Possesses knowledge of OSHA guidelines; compliance, safety, and food safety auditing processes. Responsibilities include participating in OSHA inspections, ensuring first aid equipment is operational, and monitoring facilities for safety hazards.
Asset Protection & Security: Possesses knowledge of asset protection policies and environmental, health, and safety laws. Responsibilities include recognizing and investigating security breaches and assisting in the implementation of access control procedures.
EHS Training Delivery: Possesses knowledge of training methodologies. Responsibilities include supporting the activities of instructors in training programs and managing systematic approaches to solicit feedback from training participants.
Risk Management: Possesses knowledge of risk management processes. Responsibilities include producing and interpreting risk assessment reports and conducting risk assessments.
Process Improvement: Responsibilities include defining critical workflows for executing key processes and implementing methods for improving and establishing controls.
Influential Communication: Responsibilities include organizing thoughts and communicating credibly and concisely within the scope of work.
Transportation Operations: Possesses knowledge of laws and regulations regarding materials transportation. Responsibilities include ensuring the proper completion of documents required by applicable laws and monitoring performance metrics.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, and mentoring.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company mission and values.
Customer/Member Centered: Focus on customer/member by reviewing customer-focused data and promoting associate efforts to exceed expectations.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000.00-$100,000.00. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses.
Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety Management; Environmental Science or related field.
Option 2: 2 years' experience in Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain or related field.
2 years' experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies within Supply Chain or manufacturing environments.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings.
Preferred Qualifications...
1 or More Degreed Certifications (Associate Safety Professional; Loss Prevention Certifications, Certified Security Professional). 2 or more years of investigative experience or asset protection experience in retail.
