Property Accountant - Yardi
Our client has an immediate need for a Property Accountant with Yardi software experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly financial statements on cash or accrual method of accounting in accordance with GAAP.
- Respond to financial reporting requirements of investors.
- Analyze financial statements and report on budget variances and other abnormalities.
- Maintain supporting schedules for fixed assets, insurance, taxes, etc.
- Maintain and review general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy of postings.
- Work with Auditor on year-end audit.
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting or related Degree and at least three years of experience in a progressively responsible accounting and financial reporting role.
- Above average level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a demonstrated track record of employing technology solutions to improve and streamline processes.
- Yardi software experience preferred.
- Ability to work well with all levels of employees.
