Senior Financial Analyst, GSG Finance, will be a key contributor for the Global Services Group (GSG) Finance Organization which partners closely with the GSG business to achieve strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be part of a team supporting the GSG business in decision making for the Global Account Processing Network, specifically supporting the Travelers Cheques, Prepaid Services and Operational Bureau Governance organizations. Primary responsibilities of this role will include monthly results and planning support, along with data analytics around financial and operational metrics that will help shape business strategy.
How will you make an impact in this role?
- Assist in providing senior management with relevant and timely results, outlook, and trend analysis for the Travelers Cheques, Prepaid Services and Operational Bureau Governance functions.
- Lead the consolidation of monthly reporting for the Global Account Processing Network, including creation of presentation materials for leadership.
- Play a key role in month end close, regular financial reviews, business unit reviews, and planning activities to enable GSG to deliver against daring targets.
- Provide proactive, valuable decision support to business partners by assessing financial trends and project related financials to identify potential funding risks/opportunities.
- Collaborate with other finance teams including: GSG HQ Finance, Business Planning, and Corporate Planning to ensure holistic success of the overall finance organization.
- Clearly communicate results to senior leaders – A key component is to support financial communication to both the GSG business leadership and the larger finance community. Specifically develop executive presentation content to support regular financial reviews, BUR, and LRP/Planning activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant analytical and finance experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into coherent presentation for executive audience.
- Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and composure under pressure.
- The intellectual curiosity to be impactful within the organization.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- TM1, Cornerstone, Essbase, SQL and Power BI preferred.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
