We are seeking a motivated bilingual Accountant/Bookkeeper (Italian/English) to support our steady growing Business Processing Outsourcing Department in our Atlanta, GA office. This demanding position requires a positive individual with superior organizational skills, the ability to work within deadlines and execute multiple tasks to ensure a high level of professional standards.
What you will do:
- Assisting Italian clients and its foreign parent company on their accounting, payroll, and business administration needs in the United States
- Preparing financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) and reporting packages
- Preparing sales and use tax returns, and other informational returns for different states as well as annual information returns (e.g. 1099)
- Liaison with payroll processing provider
What you need to bring:
- Minimum of 1+ years of relevant accounting experience which includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, help preparing financial statements, and communicating with clients
- Intermediate Italian language skills are required
- Experience using at least one of the following: QuickBooks, SAGE, Navision (Microsoft Dynamics), Datev, SAP
- Able to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Basic knowledge of US-GAAP
- Basic knowledge of US tax system
- Proven expertise in MS Word and MS Outlook with a working knowledge of MS Excel, and Adobe software applications
- Demonstrate high-level client-service orientation, ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with maximum discretion and understanding of clients’ needs
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task – great time management
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in a corporate accounting environment or related experience
- Strong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills required
