Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
- Generate regular financial reports for management review.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Contribute to the development of annual budgets.
- Assist in forecasting financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
General Ledger Maintenance:
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and assist with the filing of various tax returns.
- Stay informed about changes in tax regulations affecting the company.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Experience in accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
Local Knowledge:
- Familiarity with local tax regulations and accounting practices in Oregon.
