This position will support the Financial Services Department in providing professional accounting and financial-related advisory services to municipal utilities and electric cooperatives. Skills include:
- Updating, reviewing, and building Excel models.
- Calculating utility bills for rate studies.
- Assisting in preparation of financial planning and forecasting.
- Preparing technical, financial, and rate-related reports.
- Calculating comparisons of alternate rate options.
- Preparing presentations.
This position reports to the Vice President of Financial Services.
Requirements:
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to manage time across multiple projects.
- Must be able to retrieve and manipulate utility data used for billing and forecasting.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or mathematics.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and other MS Office applications.
- Utility experience a plus.
